Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) serves as one of the main transit agencies for the region. Bus Lines 94, 154, 155, 165, 294, and 501 run directly through Burbank; the city is also serviced by rail, the B Line (formerly Red Line). K-12, adult, and community college students can use Metro GoPass, a reduced fare program. Enjoy the freedom of going anywhere, anytime for free on Metro buses and trains. BurbankBus offers two different routes with connectivity to Metro and Metrolink stations, downtown Burbank, and Burbank Airport. The Pink Route extends from Universal Studios to downtown Burbank, and the Orange Route connects North Hollywood and the Burbank Airport. The Student Free Fare Program provides Burbank Unified School District and the surrounding private schools free fares for middle and high school students with a valid student ID. The agency also participates in Metro’s GoPass program; GoPass users are permitted to free fares on BurbankBus routes.

 

Metrolink

Metrolink serves as the Southern California commuter rail line. Two lines run through Burbank, Ventura County (VC) and Antelope Valley (AV), serving the Downtown Burbank, Hollywood Burbank Airport North and Hollywood Burbank Airport South stations. Metrolink provides 50% off all fares for all-aged students and those 17 years old and younger, including the One-Way, SoCal Day Pass, 5-Day Flex Pass, and the Monthly Pass promotions. To qualify, riders must present a valid photo ID with your date of birth or proof of eligibility when requested. Those five or younger can ride free with an adult using a valid ticket.
