2025 marks the Burbank Parks and Recreation Centennial and the City wants you to “Celebrate a Century of Community: Parks, People, and Purpose!”
The Department was established in 1925 with the dedication of the City’s first park, Vickroy Park. Since then, the Department has cultivated community spaces and activities for residents and visitors of Burbank. This summer, you can show Burbank Parks and Recreation your appreciation by visiting one of their many facilities and enjoying time outside, at the pool, and playing sports – all by public transportation!
Skip the parking stress this summer and keep reading to check out BTMO’s guide to getting to a few of the spots and activities that Burbank Parks and Recreation has to offer.
