Beach Bus is run by Los Angeles County Public Works to provide low-cost transit to Santa Monica Beach and Dockweiler Beach from inland regions around the county. So, beat the heat this summer and take the County’s Beach Bus at www.LAGoBus.com.
Tickets prices depend on location, and reservations are required to ensure availability. Reservations can be made on the Public Work’s website up to 10 days in advance and no later than one day before your trip; they are not required for the Topanga, East Los Angeles, and Willowbrook Beach Bus.
Dockweiler Beach offers plenty of amenities including picnic areas, fire pits, BBQ grills, volleyball courts, and a food concession stand. During the summer, Dockweiler also hosts popular Friday Night Movies on the Beach for FREE, providing a unique experience where families and friends can watch films under the stars.
