Burbank is hosting a Fan Fest in for the final weekend of the FIFA World Cup tournament. Along with LED screens showing the game, there will be live match coverage by FOX on LED screens, food and drinks, family-friendly games, soccer merchandise, and live entertainment by pop star Bebe Rexha and international DJ group Loud Luxury. Date & Time: Saturday, July 18 from 12 to 8 p.m. & Sunday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Get to downtown with transit. It is strongly encouraged to utilize Metrolink, Metro Bus, or BurbankBus:
- Metrolink service is available via the Downtown Burbank Station on the Antelope Valley and Ventura County Lines. The Fan Zone is a short walk or free shuttle ride from the station. Consider using the Metrolink SoCal Day Pass for unlimited travel throughout the day.
- Free BurbankBus shuttle service will operate between Universal City/Studio City Station and the Fan Zone approximately every 15 minutes.
- Metro B Line riders can connect via Universal City/Studio City Station.
- Multiple Metro bus routes serve Downtown Burbank, including Lines 92, 94, 154, 155, 164, 165, 294, and 296.
The event is expected to attract significant attendance – please prepare for traffic and pedestrian congestion and commute delays in and around the Burbank region as the FIFA Fan Fest in Downtown occurs. You can expect:
- Significant traffic congestion near San Fernando Blvd., Magnolia Blvd., Angeleno Ave., Olive Ave., and adjacent Downtown streets
- Increased traffic on regional routes serving Burbank, including I-5, SR-134, SR-170, and US-101 connections
- Increased demand and crowding on Metrolink, Metro Bus, and BurbankBus services
- Longer travel times throughout the region
